An objective is a flight the club wants flown while it is open: a route, a place to land, or a place to set off from. Fly one and you are on the completers list — there is nothing to sign up to and nothing to fail.
Fly it on a network this club watches, signed in to the account you linked here — a flight is matched to you by that network ID, so it is picked up without you telling us about it.
- Put VIRTUAL USA FLYING CLUB in your flight plan remarks — that is how this club recognizes one of its own. The File in SimBrief link below does it for you.
- The club only counts some aircraft: piston, turboprop, light_bizjet, rotorcraft. A flight in anything else is still yours — it just is not the club's.
- Nothing here needs claiming. Land, and the flight arrives on the logbook by itself.

VATUSA, the Virtual USA Flying Club and The Pilot Club are running General Aviation Appreciation Day again, and this year it is four centres: Atlanta, Cleveland, Indianapolis and Memphis. Class D and C fields across all four are staffed from 2200z to 0200z. Hop into your favourite light twin, taildragger or trusty Skyhawk and go flying. The Colorado Rockies are not only for ski season — the high country is where you go to escape the last of the summer heat. We are heading for Steamboat Springs / Bob Adams Field (KSBS) in the Yampa Valley, where 4,452 feet of runway and the field's elevation will test your airplane and your planning: on a hot afternoon the density altitude can pass 10,000 feet, so choose your aircraft accordingly.
